Last Time Out

Valkyries: Golden State won 79-64 over the Connecticut Sun on Friday, July 10, extending their winning streak to seven games — a franchise record. Veronica Burton led the way with 17 points and 6 assists, and Janelle Salaün added 16 off the bench. The win was the Valkyries' 40th in just 68 games, making them the fastest expansion team in WNBA history to reach that mark.

Fever: Indiana routed the Las Vegas Aces 109-75 on Sunday, July 12. Kelsey Mitchell scored 27 points while Caitlin Clark posted a 12-point, 7-rebound, 6-assist line, and the Fever have now won three straight.

Best Defense in the League Meets the WNBA's Biggest Draw

Golden State enters Indianapolis with the league's top-rated defense, a 100.4 defensive rating that's holding opponents to a league-low 76.2 points per game on 41.9% shooting. That unit will be tested by a Fever offense fronted by Caitlin Clark, Kelsey Mitchell, and Aliyah Boston — all three named WNBA All-Star starters this season, the most of any team in the league. Clark remains the only player in WNBA history to average at least 20 points and 7 assists in a season, and Indiana averages 94.0 points per game against a Valkyries defense that's simply never seen an offense like this.

Latest News

Gabby Williams, the Valkyries' leading scorer at 15 points per game, missed Friday's win over Connecticut with a back contusion — her first missed game of the season. Head coach Natalie Nakase said Williams was feeling better and would be a game-time decision, monitored during warmups before Wednesday's tip-off. Her status remains in question for Indianapolis.

Tip-off is at 5:00 PM PT. Tune in on USA Network, KPIX, or KOVR.
