Veronica Burton led the way with 22 points, Gabby Williams added 19, and Kayla Thornton chipped in 11 points and 10 rebounds. It was Golden State's third straight win and their ninth in their last 11 games.
Sparks: Los Angeles snapped Minnesota's 10-game winning streak with an 89-82 upset on August 6. Rae Burrell scored 17 points and sparked a game-ending 8-0 run, while Dearica Hamby (16 points, 9 rebounds), Nneka Ogwumike (16 points, 7 rebounds), and Erica Wheeler (12 points, 9 assists) all contributed to the road victory.
