Valkyries: Cecilia Zandalasini posted a career-high 23 points, but it wasn't enough as Golden State's four-game winning streak was snapped by the Minnesota Lynx, 81-75, at Chase Center on Friday. Gabby Williams and Janelle Salaün each added 15 points, but 14 turnovers proved costly against a Lynx team that remains unbeaten all-time against the Valkyries franchise.

Aces: Las Vegas looked shaky after a shocking 96-66 blowout loss to Dallas earlier in the week, but bounced back with an 86-76 win over Phoenix to stabilize. The Aces have won seven of their last eight games overall.

A'ja Wilson, Records, and a Revenge Narrative

A'ja Wilson is on an historic run. The reigning WNBA MVP and Finals MVP — four MVPs and three championships to her name — leads the league in scoring at 26.1 points per game and was the top vote-getter in the first All-Star returns. Matching up against a Valkyries squad that can't quite stop her has been the story every time these teams meet. Golden State's center Kiah Stokes, ironically a former Aces backup to Wilson herself, is the Valkyries' most effective interior deterrent — she leads the team with 1.7 blocks per game and is shooting a career-best 38.9 % from three. Whether Stokes can make Wilson's night uncomfortable enough to change the outcome is the central question of this one.

Latest News

In their most recent head-to-head, Gabby Williams scored a career-best 29 points — a performance that showed the Valkyries can hang with the Aces. Williams has emerged as the team's most dynamic offensive weapon and will look to reprise that form on the road. No major injury reports for either side entering today's game.

Tip-off is at 1:00 PM PT. Tune in on CBS or stream on the WNBA App.
