Podhalla Classic: The Original Juste Jocyte Interview After Being Drafted by the Valkyries

For the first-ever Podhalla Classic episode on our new feed, we're going back to May 2025, when Brian Gonzales sat down one-on-one with Juste Jocyte — the Golden State Valkyries' first-ever draft pick — for what was, as far as we knew, her first interview with any local or U.S. outlet. Juste opens up about her background and her basketball career up to that point, why she thought Golden State would be the team to draft her, and why she chose to stay overseas for her first year instead of joining the Valkyries right away. She also lays out the plan for finally joining the team in 2026, which as we know, is what happened.
