In this clip from Podhalla, Garrett Gonzales and Brian Gonzales talk with Conrado Pascual about his last-minute interview with Golden State Valkyries guard Juste Jocyte at the WarriorsWorld fan event, after the original interviewer dropped out. Conrado breaks down why Jocyte was so easy to interview — her composure, self-awareness, and polish that goes well beyond her years. The crew discusses what makes her one of the most compelling personalities on the Valkyries roster and why she may already be one of the most media-savvy players in the WNBA.

Last Time Out

Valkyries: Golden State dominated the Los Angeles Sparks 78-58 on Monday, leading by as many as 24 points and never trailing. Gabby Williams led the way with 16 points, followed by Kaila Charles (13), Veronica Burton (12), and Cecilia Zandalasini (10) — nine different Valkyries scored in a masterclass of balanced, defense-first basketball.

Wings: Dallas ran away from the defending champion Las Vegas Aces 96-66 on Monday, handing the Aces a 30-point defeat. The Wings came out firing and never let up, serving notice they're a legitimate threat in the Western Conference.

Backcourt Brilliance: Bueckers vs. the Valkyries' Defense

The story of this matchup is Paige Bueckers and Azzi Fudd against a Valkyries defense ranked third in the league in opponent field goal percentage (41.9%). Bueckers has made a massive sophomore leap, improving from 33.1% from three last year to 42.6% on 4.7 attempts per game. Fudd, the first overall pick of the 2026 draft, is contributing immediately with 12.9 PPG and 38.6% shooting from deep. If Golden State's perimeter defense can slow down those two, the Valkyries should be in strong position at home.
